Flahaut Design

For the past 25 years, Flahault Design & Associés has been able to cite some prestigious references, whether in the fields of river and sea transport (function boats for Yachts de Paris, follower boats for Team Alinghi for the Americas Cup), floating buildings (the France 3 Thalassa Studios on the Seine), or interior architecture. It was in the latter domain that Olivier Flahault and Caroline Deroch called upon Ligne Roset Contracts: firstly for the fitting-out of the VIP areas (bar & lounge) of the headquarters of Team Alinghi – defenders of the Americas Cup – and later for the design of the Royal Babouche restaurant, La Baule, recently renovated and merged with Café Bouillu to make one single and very large establishment –with the continued participation of Ligne Roset Contracts. And most recently, it was for the Maison des Avocats in Nantes that Flahault Design selected Pierre Paulin’s TV chair, which had only just been presented at Maison & Objet.

A strong bond was forged from these collaborations and it was therefore quite natural that Flahault Design was entrusted with the design of the restaurant space on the LRC stand at the Salon du meuble de Paris in 2006. A concept which is just begging to be put into practice in real life…
